(Re)design is underway on True Stories From Nature. I say (re)design, because I’m not sure how much I designed the page with the Giant Golden Mole. More accurately, it was hashed together. I’m trying to put together a more functional , user-friendly, technically-competent and attractive page, though I haven’t actually gotten to the coding yet, so we shall see!
Anyweb, as I was trawling around for ideas, seeing what people had made that fit the description “floating islands” I came across this neat picture:

Neither of the people who have posted it have specifically claimed that they are the author. Whoever appropriated the original has adjusted the colour, contrast, and angle, and for some reason have gone to the trouble of shifting some of the bird silhouettes around.
My greatest hope at this stage is that there is not a third, original image. Oh, the internet.
