Following up from my outrageous expose of the similar floating islands images, I have since discovered the obvious and disappointing truth behind the image.
First I found yet another instance where someone seemed to be pretending they had made the image themselves:
Then, because I am a little slow, I finally got around to seeing just how much these floating island images look like the scenes from Avatar. It seems, quite a bunch:
I suspect there is a very good chance that an image closely resembling that one splashed about so proudly by so many can be found directly in the film. How is it that the internet still has this uncanny ability to continue to disappoint, even as one’s expectations feel as though they have already plumbed surprising depths?
